Ladder Up

At the following locations, you can receive free electronic preparation and e-filing of your tax return. We serve households earning up to $45,000 annually and individuals earning up to $20,000 annually. We cannot serve you if you have capital gains, income from rental property, or if you are not a full-time Illinois resident.

Most sites are open from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday mornings from January 23 to April 10, with all sites being closed on Saturday, March 6. Please note that not all sites are open every Saturday.
All sites operate on a first come, first served basis, so please arrive early, as many sites will be full well before the official closing time.
Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions run from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
