The Tax Assistance Program has undergone a major, strategic re-branding campaign to better reflect the increased scope of services it offers to the Chicago area’s working poor. We are now Ladder Up, and our two main programs are TAP (Tax Assistance Program) and LIFT (Life-Improving Financial Tools). Although our name has changed, we remain committed to the same mission we’ve had since day one: To help people climb up and out of poverty.
