Emergency Child Care
Per Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order on Friday March 20, 2020, all child care programs were closed. Where possible, children should be kept at home.
However, recognizing that child care is critical to supporting working families, Governor Prtizker, his staff, his Office of Early Childhood Development, and the leadership at the Illinois Department of Human Services and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services seek to provide resources for the state’s essential workers.
